Long time, no see!
It's been a bit and we've been so busy. We always are and we love it! Well, most of the time. ;)
It's true what they say about the second born child - less updates, less
pictures, etc. (Well, there are plenty of pictures, but we never update this. We keep forgetting it's here. Oops) That's what happens when you've got your hands full, but
everyone's happy, healthy and having fun.
Violet is now 2 years and 9 months old. She is a piece of work. She loves
to scribble and can draw faces pretty well now, complete with
"eyebrowns" (eyebrows!) She is our echo and cannot stop blabbing.
Very entertaining, to say the least. Lately, she's been into building with her Lego Duplos, hugging the dog, singing, dancing and just about everything else under the sun.
Lydia is nearly 11 months old now. At her 9 month well check she was a whopping 23 pounds and is 29 inches tall. Big girl! She has been crawling for
awhile now and pulls herself up to the furniture to stand and
"cruises" a lot. Just yesterday she took her first step! But not walking yet. She's babbling and says the dog's name, Hello, Thank You, Mama, Dada and more jibberish, of course. She gives kisses, claps, waves. All of the good baby stuff. She is
just so pleasant and happy.
Right now, we're enjoying the Summer and chugging along. Planning Lydia's first birthday party, going to amusement parks, the beach (soon) and just relaxing and enjoying every little moment we can.
When we have some time, we will have to post more pics and videos.
